Hyatt Hotels & Resorts™ announces that Bali Hyatt is now closed in order to undergo a large-scale renovation project.
Operational for more than 40 years, since the hotel’s official opening in November 1973, Bali Hyatt has been one of the most loved destinations on the Sanur beachfront. The renovation project will retain many of the hotel’s traditional design features, while introducing substantial enhancements to its overall guest experience. The Tokyo-based Design Studio Spin will incorporate authentic Balinese features throughout the property while maintaining the hotel’s award-winning gardens, which will welcome guests back to the relaxing environment for which the hotel is renowned.
The renovated hotel will be renamed Hyatt Regency Bali and is expected to reopen in the last quarter of 2017. We will continue to update our website regarding the exact reopening date.
